[She lifts her head, looking him in the eyes, her jaw set. It makes the scar pull the corner of her mouth up, but it's plain that's no smile.]

Annoyingly, I am still mad at you. [ Which what the heck? He's voiced his feelings, why are they still there! This is stupid! Feelings are dumb! ] But we are stuck on small ship with each other. I can push my anger aside for us to work together as needed.

[The little sigh of relief slips out, that he's going to leave. She stays where she is, propping her elbow on the table.]

You have space. Won't be back to working the greenhouse. Taking job in the kennels.

[ He gives her a little nod. There's a pause as Hilbert looks over Taylor, frowning still before he points out, ]

For your sake, I hope you are permanently paired soon. Hopefully it is new warden. You will never get anywhere if the Barge continues to shove you with your friends.

[ And with that, he starts to head to the door to leave. ]
