"Did the water kill? Or did the water do something else?"

"Light kill," she repeats with emphasis, and a more fervent gesture at the lamp. "Light kill kill kill kill."

"No, I get that. I just--" She runs a hand through her hair, lips pursing. "I'm trying to figure out where everything else fits into that."

Taylor huffs quietly, and scrubs her hand over her face.

"Taylor," she says firmly, holding up her hand, palm to Misty. "Taylor. Light," comes with a tap beside her eyes, and then she stares hard at her palm. "Light kill Taylor, Taylor..." And she lets her hand fall hard back to the sofa again. "Taylor water. Water." Patting the sofa cushion.

"The light killed you, and then you fell in the water," she sums up, her brow furrowing further. "Right?"

She repeats the falling gesture, biting her lip. "Fell. Fell," she repeats, looking at Misty with raised brows.

"Right. Fell." And Misty's eyes fall, too. "I'm sorry."

She flutters her hand - she hears 'sorry' a lot, but no one's gotten what it means into her yet.

She touches her stomach again, pressing her whole forearm against it. "Taylor," she says, gesturing upwards. And then presses her lips together, gesturing down.

"So you went up, and then you fell? And I still don't get the..."

She gestures at Taylor's stomach.

She looks around, and seizes on one of the magazines that always seem to be in here. There's a picture of a man on the cover, and she tears the cover off hastily, then tears it in half. Right across the middle. Throws the lower half away, and hands Misty the upper half, with the man's body from the waist up.
